Sara was born in a refugee camp in Sudan after her parents escaped a civil war and being exposed to such conditions inspired her to want more in life. A self-made entrepreneur, Sara is the CEO of SARA BELAY ENTERPRISES, a holding company for the various business verticals she co-founded, and is an investor in BROAD STREET VENTURES.
A fashion and beauty icon with a variety of lifestyle brand partnerships through the Sara Lovestyle® brand she created in 2018, she is a partner in Agency Lux, a social media agency for influencers and brands; a co-founder of SARAMANTE, an investment vehicle in Sports & Entertainment, CPG, FinTech, HealthTech and EdTech; the founder of Belay & Bell food & spices company; a venture capitalist and angel investor with a passion to involve more women in the tech space including serving on the advisory board for several of the 17 companies she has equitable investments. A devoted advocate and mother of two children with her first-born being diagnosed with autism, she inspires others through her philanthropic efforts. Sara can also be seen on REVOLT TV where she is a guest entertainment correspondent in addition to appearances on a variety of television shows and movies. She has a BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a 2022 AFROTECH Capital Connector honoree.
