Tracey Pickett is a passionate entrepreneur, attorney, inventor and musician. She began her legal career at a Fortune 5 technology company working in the areas of corporate and intellectual property law. An attorney by day, Tracey spent nights and weekends developing her true passion for entrepreneurship.

In 2016, Tracey left her job to launch her invention - Hairbrella. Hairbrella is the world’s first satin-lined rain hat combining fashion and function to protect women’s hair. Coined “The Rain Hat Reinvented”, Hairbrella has been featured in Forbes, Oprah Daily, Essence, and The ZOE Report. With appearances on The View and Good Morning America, Hairbrella continues to showcase the ingenuity of woman-owned businesses. Most recently, Hairbrella was also included on Beyoncé’s “Black Parade” - a directory of Black-owned businesses curated by her stylist, Zerina Akers. As the #1 Selling Rain Hat on Amazon, Hairbrella takes pride in keeping customers polished, protected and prepared no matter the forecast.

Tracey is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of both Spelman College and UGA Law. When she’s not working on her business, she enjoys traveling, riding her bike on the Atlanta Beltline, playing drums at her church and speaking on the topics of entrepreneurship and innovation.
